Domaine Long-Depaquit
The origins of the estate...

> The origins of the Long-Depaquit domaine date back to 1128, when the Cistercian monks of Pontigny Abbey developed their own winery in Chablis.

> During the revolution, the abbot of Pontigny, Jean Depaquit, left the order to return to civilian life. He purchased the abbey’s vineyards, including the famous Chablis Grand Cru Moutonne vines which are today under the estate’s monopoly.

The estate offers a visit of its cellars, followed by a guided tasting.
Chablis Grand Cru La Moutonne White Monopole

The domaine’s flagship wine, la Moutonne, represents Chablis’ archetypal minerality and delicacy. It is a beautiful yellow colour with green tints and a nose evoking subtle earthy notes, followed by gunpowder aromas. Delicate and elegant, this wine is a perfect example of minerality.
